There’s a quote from Good Will Hunting that really resonates with me: “She knew all my little peccadillos. People call these things ‘imperfections,’ but they’re not. That’s the good stuff. And then we get to choose who we let into our weird little worlds.”
I think that captures what I love most about this work – helping people see that their quirks and struggles aren’t flaws to fix, but parts of themselves to understand and work with.
I’m most experienced working with adolescents and children, particularly those with autism, ADHD, and ODD. I also specialize in anxiety and trauma.
These experiences have taught me valuable behavioral techniques and skills, and my strengths really shine through my patience, person-centered approach and ability to establish genuine rapport with my clients. I work with all ages and am fluent in both English and Spanish, so we can communicate in whatever language feels most comfortable for you.
One thing I’m particularly proud to offer is treatment for clients without insurance because I know that’s one of the biggest obstacles people face when trying to get mental health support. It brings me great pleasure to provide that option for others who might not otherwise have access to care.
My approach combines CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care techniques, but what really matters is creating a space where you feel comfortable expressing yourself and your feelings. I consider myself kind, intuitive, patient, a great listener and most importantly fully present in our sessions together.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me playing sports like pickleball and soccer, gaming, watching movies or spending time with friends and family at sporting events. I’m passionate about learning about others and helping anyone who’s willing to receive support in achieving their daily life goals.
